Guesthouse Beckmann - Gottingen

This hotel may be a bit far away from everything, but that's what makes it so special. Situated in a tranquil and green area, it's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff here is incredibly attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. The rooms, whether with a private or shared bathroom, are well-maintained and even the older ones have their own charm. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast included in the price. It was such a treat to start my day with a wide variety of options, and the best part was that I could order more if I wanted to!

The location of the hotel was very convenient for my business trip, as it was close to the university campus. the breakfast was also a highlight, with a good set of options to choose from.

The furniture and bathroom in the room were outdated and basic, making it feel more like a hostel than a hotel. the towels provided were also scratchy and thin, not of the best quality.

It may be a bit far from the city center, but accessible by public transport or car with easy access to the train station. the rooms are clean, with comfortable bedding, and some offer picturesque views. the breakfast is continental, but with enough variety. A few facilities include a secure parking area and charging stations for electric vehicles.

The hotel is not very modern in style.

The room was small and outdated. The shared bathroom was not up to my standards.

We loved the clean rooms with modern furniture. Hotel facilities were great with a smart self-picking bar at the reception and a restaurant with a great view. Transportation was convenient as the bus stop was only 30 seconds away and the hotel was directly on the bus line to anywhere in central Goettingen. Parking was safe and close to the hotel. Staff was friendly and cute.
